Nivea In Shower Moisturiser

I have mentioned before on this blog that I don't get caught up with hype that surrounds beauty products because I have done that in the past bought a brand new product because people rave about it and I felt like I was missing out and the product has turned out to be a bit of a dud. So these days I like to do my research instead of rushing out and wasting my money (Plus when the hype around new products dies down the price lowers too ;) )

A product I have been meaning to try for quite a while is Nivea's In Shower Moisturiser. I am quite lazy when it comes to using body lotions or moisturisers and only tend to use them when I have enough time to get ready at a leisurely pace. So I knew at some point I would have to give this product a go to see if it would be any good for me.

The idea of the in shower moisturiser is that you wash yourself with a normal shower gel as usual and rinse and then you apply the moisturiser how your normally would and then leave for a few minutes, I normally apply before rinsing the conditioner out of my hair and then rinse off. At first I was wondering would you actually be able to feel the effects of the moisturiser if you are washing it off afterwards but you really can.
It is also really good to use when the weather is hot and humid as you aren't left feeling like a big greasy mess, you still feel fresh as moisturised.

You are left feeling moisturised but not greasy or sticky it's kinda weird like a moisture film over your body. Which really does last for most of the day, longer than I have found with any normal type of moisturiser. The moisturiser is not overly scented too like most Nivea products which I really like I don't like overly smelly bath/ body products.

After reading many reviews of this myself before I bought it, it seems like a bit of a love/ hate product some can't see the point of it and some people like me really enjoy using it and would repurchase it over and over again.

  1. I love these! You're right they are bit weird in that its just some how moisturising without the film or feeling but they're great for summer! I really recommend the 'honey' scent, it smells amazing and feels a lot like a After Sun which is great after a day in the sun!
